To Whom It May Concern,

Let me begin by introducing myself. I am a young working professional who is extremely passionate about Creative Writing, Arts and Culture, Humanitarian Work and Law. I am currently looking for a full time position working as a Receptionist or Administrative Assistant, as well as working part time. Previously, I was working in the Funeral Industry for close to 6 years. Working in the Funeral Industry gave me significant experience working in customer service, as well as experience working in an office as an administrator, handling phone calls, co-ordinating appointments, writing contracts and handling all of the day to day banking. I plan on furthering my education eventually and returning to school for Economics, with hopes of continuing on to Law School. I decided to make a change when it became clear that my interests and knowledge were drawing me towards something completely different.

I was extremely interested in this position as soon as I saw the posting because I felt like it directly correlated with my personal and professional skills. It is my intent to secure myself working with a company that wants to help me reach new potentials and engage me even further. When working with a genuine company, I am extremely loyal and invested and would stay as long as possible. When put into a position of leadership, I know that I can rise to the challenge and motivate others. I feel I can bring a happy and caring atmosphere, to not only fellow workers but new people I would be meeting every-day.

I was recently offered an abroad internship in Dublin, Ireland. The focus of my internship was based around numerous NGO (Non-Profit Organization) groups in Dublin. My internship was mostly Law/Humanitarian based, for instance, I would be working with different Women’s Rights groups, Refugee groups, LGBTQ+ groups, etc. I was completely over the moon to be accepted in to the program, but sadly I had to decline my offer, in the interest of staying here to work full time and further my own personal studies.

I am confident that this job will be a perfect fit for me and I am hopeful that I can bring everything you are looking for in an employee. It will not only further engage me into different interests but will also utilize my passions and dedication for the workplace. This experience would not only be a pillar in my career path, but also a potential life altering one, with endless possibilities filled with excitement and dedication.

Sincerely,
Kiana Brundige
