Physics Research Project Based Class January 2019 � May 2019
�Worked on creating a Practical Holography; Creating Transmission Holograms on Silver Salt Plates , using a laser beam that splits into forming a reference beam and an object beam. Both beams forming interference pattern on the film (silver plates), which goes through different developing process to keep the hologram created on the plate.

�Worked on Transition-metal-catalyzed synthesis of 2-substituted a-carbolines, using a cyanamide functional group as the key linchpin in the synthesis, to describe two parallel strategies for the synthesis of these molecules: a step-wise sequence involving Rh(I)-catalysis and a second strategy involving tandem Pd(0)-catalysis experience

�Recipient of American Chemical Society grant the prompted my research which focused on showing Palladium-catalyzed synthesis of alpha carbons. Using cyanamide as substrates the reaction has been screened on different conditions such as solvents, Lingard�s, temperature, stoichiometry and time to optimize the isolated yield
�Practiced and mastered many reaction setup, monitoring, workup, purification, and analysis techniques such as column chromatography and microwave reactions
