As the primary interior designer and owner of CDHardesty Designs it is my responsibility to provide my clients with exceptional in person interior design or an e-design experience based on their needs and location. Responsibilities include consulting with clients and then creating a design proposal based on their style, budget and the function of their space. Presentations include construction documents, furniture plans, lighting plans, furniture and fixture specifications, quantity calculations and 3D renderings. A Full service project could also include project management, vendor coordination, custom orders and installations. As the owner of CDHardesty designs I also complete all the graphic design, marketing and business administration duties required to run a business.

12/2005 � 01/2019 Retail Store Designer (Remote) Save-A-Lot � St. Louis, MO

As a retail store designer for a nationally recognized grocery store, it was my responsibility to produce fixture layouts and exterior renderings for Save?A?Lot Food stores that were consistent with company standards but also met the needs of the individual space and the customer. I developed floor plans from information provided via field sketches and photographs of the existing space utilizing AutoCAD software and exterior renderings utilizing Photoshop and InDesign. Projects included new stores, remodels, resets, updating prototypes, updating criteria drawings, custom fixtures, and special projects . Other responsibilities included coordinating projects with real estate, operations, and merchandising to ensure the project ran smoothly, on budget and to the standards or each contributing department.

As an interior designer for a high end tile and granite showroom, it was my responsibility to assist customers in the selection of a wide variety of products for kitchens and bathrooms, such as, tile, fixtures, and hardware. Once selections were made I would then create custom tile layouts utilizing AutoCAD software.

As a floral designer for Occasional Flowers it was my responsibility to utilize my interior design background to create concepts for floral arrangements, which were then mass produced for weddings and corporate parties.
