Nannying Resume

Hi there! My name is Jenna, I am 21 years old, and I would love to take care of your child. I am currently enrolled at Loyola University in New Orleans where I received a full tuition scholarship. Now that it is the summer and I am out of school, my schedule is more flexible and open to whatever you and your kids might need from me. I am looking for a family that I can grow with over time and hopefully stay with once I go back to school!

I am CPR/AED/First-Aid Certified, so you can rest easy knowing that your children are safe with me. I am more than willing to help out with any household tasks in addition to watching your children. I also love animals of any kind as I grew up in a family that kept dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, mice, and more as pets!

I have been abiding by the stay at home orders and recently tested negative for COVID-19. I currently live Uptown and have my own car, so I would be able to get to your house very quickly and provide my own transportation. My car is very safe and has a roomy backseat that is perfect for carseats of any kind.

At the beginning if my freshman year of college, I was an after school nanny for a wonderful family with a young daughter. This job taught me how to fit in with a family dynamic and do what was best for the child while following the directions and guidance of the parents. I also babysat on the weekends for another family with two daughters, one of which had a developmental disability. I stayed with this family for the last two years, and learned how to constantly adjust my nannying style to fit the needs of a child with different needs than most. My most recent nannying job was with an energetic 3 year old boy who I helped potty train and focused on teaching lots developmental skills to. Of all of my babysitting experience, taking care of my younger sister (who is 8 years younger than me - quite the age gap!) has been the most rewarding.

I know you have a lot of applicants to sift through, but I hope you keep me in mind when looking for your caregiver!
