Community Involvement:
During the past 10 years, I have been a Girl Scout leader. During that time I have:
? Lead Bi-weekly troop meetings;worked with the girls to achieve badges in camping, budgeting
and money management, a variety of crafts, and health and nutrition
? Arranged over night and day trips to local attractions and events
? Arranged budget, travel and itinerary for a week long trip out of state and cruise to Mexico.
? Attended monthly leader meeting; filled out and filled required paperwork, within the allotted
deadline
? Organized yearly cookie drive with our troop; in charge of inventory of our troop cookies; help
manage money earned from cookie sales; entering the data to order the cookies we sold and
supported community service events and programs for the girls
? Taught practical first aid methods and CPR techniques
? Support discussions on the individual protection when unaccompanied by an adult;taught girls
techniques to deal with unwanted attention from strangers, drugs and alcohol abuse, peer
pressure, and self care
? I also volunteer my time at my Church helping with many different areas.
