Experience
DIRECTOR OF MUSIC AND WORSHIP ARTS | TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH | DECEMBER 2016-PRESENT
• In this role I am practicing the aspects of being an active music director while being the contemporary worship leader, handbell choir director, traditional choir director, and pianist/organist for all church services and other activities. I currently assist with administrative duties and work with recruiting volunteers, hiring guest musicians, and rehearsing to ensure that the congregation approves and connects with musical selections, both traditional and contemporary for all age groups. I have introduced seasonal cantatas with orchestra and chorus to the church that are a major success, with community singers performing multiple times a year. This also gives me much experience with balancing the church’s yearly and monthly budget for music and worship.
PRIVATE TEACHER | TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH | DECEMBER 2016-PRESENT
• I’m a professional voice coach and piano teacher. I also teach music theory and a variety of brass instruments to prepare students to enter collegiate music programs, as well as rehearsing repertoire to perform during church services. Helping my students achieve their goals and develop as musicians is something I enjoy doing every week.
MUSIC AND ARTISTIC DIRECTOR | MAPLE LEAF ESTATES | JULY 2012- NOVEMBER 2018
• I directed a 60 voice choir that represents the Maple Leaf Estates community’s desire for a musical and uplifting outlet. As they are a 55+ community, I take great care during the season to create several engaging programs that are not only interesting to the audience, but enjoyable and musically reasonable for volunteer choir members.

MUSIC AND ARTISTIC DIRECTOR | OLD BRIDGE VILLAGE | JUNE 2016 – NOVEMBER 2018
• Here I directed a 40 voice choir, similar to the Maple Leaf Estates, a 55+ community. Once again, months of preparation and weekly rehearsals throughout the year came together to create several captivating concerts that always drew in the community to participate in.

MUSIC AND ARTISTIC DIRECTOR | SOUNDS OF FLORIDA | JUNE 2016- NOVEMBER 2018
• In this position, I directed a group of 15 singers to perform popular songs in public venues during the winter and spring months.

MUSIC AND ARTISTIC DIRECTOR | FORREST PARK CHORALEERS | JUNE 2016- NOVEMBER 2018
• This 20 voice, 55+ aged choir had no music library before I took the job offer, but I was able to create a program using online resources and writing my own arrangements that drew in several packed shows during the season.

ASSISTANT MUSIC DIRECTOR | HOLY TRINITY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH | APRIL 2014- DECEMBER 2016
• This position helped prepare me for duties as a music director. When I worked there, I assisted the director of traditional and contemporary worship, as well as the weekly rehearsals. I was able to observe and take part in problem solving and the management of the music department which was a great experience.

PIANIST | FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, BURNT STORE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH, GRACE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH | 2005- 2014
• My father is a music director, so I would travel with him as an accompanist to many different churches as I was growing up.
