Master of Science in Journalism. Focusing on culture, lifestyle and social change reporting, video and photography. Covered the Ghanaian community in the Bronx. Stories included Ghanaian Americans moving back to Ghana because of racism and economic growth. Currently working on a multimedia projects on immigrants in New York City.

London School of Economics (LSE) September 2015 - December 2016
Masters of Science in Media and Communication. Examined key social issues on globalization and cultural representation in western media. Analysis of international news coverage and in-depth studies on the power of the media. Conducted research through interviews and focus groups for dissertation on the media influences on young women choosing affluent partners.

University of Arts London September 2012 - July 2015 Bachelors of Arts in Fashion Journalism with coursework on content creation for print magazines. Projects included participating in a collaborative project on brand identity with Procter and Gamble. Created a prototype for a fashion magazine aimed at bridging the gap between local designers and clients in Nigeria.

Lifestyle Editor, Guardian Life Magazine Nigeria November 2016 - December 2017
The magazine is a nationwide glossy weekly supplement for The Guardian Newspaper in Nigeria. Part of a team of five, responsible for finding content and creatively directed cover shoots. Managed onset crew, graphic designer and contributing writers. Produced behind the scenes footage online and social media.
Pitched and published over 150 features. Highlights include the issue on gender inequality in Nigeria and the challenges of the modeling industry in Nigeria.

Freelance Writer, YIAGA Nigeria January - May 2018
A Youth-based non-governmental organisation that promotes democratic governance, human rights and youth political participation. Interviewed young politicians and wrote 3,000 word chapter for a book advocating for youth involvement in politics.

Intern Reporter, Cape Argus Newspaper (South Africa) March - May 2014
Argus is a daily local newspaper in Cape Town. Pitched and contributed stories weekly. Stories published included �The return of corsets for dieting.�

Slum 2 School, Lagos Nigeria January - July 2018
A Non profit organisation aimed at improving education in undeveloped schools in impoverished communities in Nigeria. Teacher-volunteer in-charge of grade four. Taught primarily English, social studies and geography.
