Teach English as a second language at an urban high school (9-12). Translate oral and written documents from English to Arabic (Iraqi, Egyptian, Palestinian, Syrian, and Jordanian) for the school district. Make home visits and work hand-in-hand with school counselors. Founded fencing club (2017) and started the First Annual Culture Night event (2018).

Managed school operations and provided strong leadership to the teachers and staff members. Reached out to the community at large, and I was able to engage parents with the school activities. Made consultations, taking parents suggestions, and discussing the educational needs of individual students. Was responsible for arranging major and minor building maintenance programs, while ensuring that every teacher has the resources they need to meet the state’s curriculum requirements.
