To Whom It May Concern;
I am pleased to present my resume for consideration as a Film Intern. I am currently a second year Visual Arts major with a minor in Filmmaking at Ramapo College. I am seeking a filmmaking internship that will utilize my pre and post production skills and assist with my professional growth in the field. With several completed projects, and the desire to create stories that are inspiring and telling, I am confident in my ability to be a valuable asset to your organization.
In 2016, I began my career as a freelance videographer. As a self taught photographer and videographer, I developed a keen eye for taking videos and pictures from different perspectives that would cultivate an important message or story within them. To highlight one of my most recent accomplishments, I worked with an Australian blogger and videographed and edited her �Body Beautiful� campaign. After working for several days; I was able to provide an end product that gave the viewer the message that all women are beautiful; regardless of size, age and ethnicity.
I also utilize my talents to assist members within the community to publicize and promote their philanthropy. In 2018, I created a video to help publicize the creation of a multi-million dollar community center, that would provide an outlet for local teens and youth to spend their free time engaging and supporting one another through sports and mentorship. The video that I created was featured at the organization�s fundraiser event, and helped create a visualization of the services that could be provided for community members.
To date, I have worked with numerous bloggers and instagrammers that have a vast amount of following. I am an artist, a visionary, and a developer. My passion is to tell stories of the underdog, the vulnerable, and those that have endured hardship but continue to rise up and make a difference in the world.
With my artistic talent and a passion for storytelling through videography and photography, I am certain that I will be a valuable asset to your organization. I am confident that both my education and experiences will provide a unique and creative perspective in your organization�s products.
