This organization held sessions with children who lacked in many development areas. As a volunteer, I was able to help
the care givers with promoting great behavior from the children. Throughout the sessions we allowed the children to
facilitate the discussions and help navigate them on hold to speak to each other and control their anger when upset. We
gave tickets as a reward when they corrected their behaviors.
This volunteer opportunity consisted of cleaning the local Denton areas assigned to ensure that we keep the environment
clean. We were giving trash bags and gloves to pick up trash. We filled three bags with trash and was able to help keep
the community clean.
