A Runner is the beginning position at this McAlister's Deli location. The duties included cleaning tables, cleaning specific areas for closing (bathrooms, outside, dining floor), and quality assurance for the customer.

As Front of House, my duties required quality food assurance and ensuring customer satisfaction with their dining experience. This position required more hands-on interaction with the customers and the staff.

The Kitchen responsibilities ranged from being stationed at dish- washing throughout the day, requiring speed and reliability that the dishes were made clean and available. Another position in the Kitchen required the food portions be prepped before the day started. It was a day long responsibility to portion food out and make sure that everyone in the kitchen had their food ready to cook for guests. Another position I was a part of in the Kitchen was the cooker. This position required attention to detail, focusing on orders to make sure each one was prepared with the guest’s food preferences in mind.
