Hard working and determined recent cum laude college graduate who received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology at Clark Atlanta University, with a grade point average of 3.56. I am currently aiming to use my knowledge in the field of child and family services, and soon furthering my career in the field of educational psychology. Aside from furthering my career, I also plan to establish my own my own nonprofit organization that is geared towards young girls between the ages of 10-17 in my hometown of Memphis, and soon to be worldwide. I truly believe that kids are the future.

Research: Conducted a presentation on experimental research on courteous behaviors given based on Afrocentric and Eurocentric hairstyles. Also presented proposal research on the effects of media on self-esteem of African American girls.

Teacher Assistant (Intern) 03/2019-05/2019
Assisted the teacher with any needs inside and outside the classroom. This included filing paperwork, helping grade papers, organize the classroom, and research games to incorporate in the daily lesson plans.
Coordinate groups for students to learn and cooperate with one another in all subjects. In the end, the students did exceptionally well in groups than individually.
Executed and demonstrated mathematical problems and games to three third graders who needed extra help.
Aided the teacher in helping the students prepare for the Georgia Milestone Test by demonstrating practice questions in science, English, and math.

Create Your Dreams Atlanta, GA
After-School Tutor/Mentor (Intern) 01/2019-04/2019
Administered creative ways to make the students have an easier way of learning math and English such as include math problems and grammatical errors in sentences on Jeopardy.
Collaborated with the educational director in assisting the students with their homework by tutoring them in the areas where help was most needed.
Incorporated entertaining games and clubs with the weekend director with the elementary kids between the ages 8-10. This included science and art projects. As well as cooking.
Filed paperwork and organized cabinets that consisted of each child’s information that is a part of this non-profit organization.
