MICHAEL TELLO

I worked as a licensed Fugitive Recovery Agent, with extensive experience investigating, locating and
apprehending fugitive defendants with warrants. Prior to me working as an Investigator in 2009, I
enlisted into the United States Marine Corps as a Military Police Officer. Upon graduating Military Police
School, I was appointed to the White House Military Office as a Presidential Military Police Officer for
Marine One Helicopter Squadron (HMX1) stationed in Washington, DC and Quantico, VA.

• Immediately responds to and engages to stop the threat of an active assailant. Conducts
perimeter and inner school checks to ensure premises are secure.
• Uses whatever force is necessary to prevent or abate an active assailant incident.
• Analyzes information and situations regarding activities that may be in violation of
school policies and/or an indication of possible criminal activity for the purpose of determining
immediate actions and/or making recommendations to ensure safety of students, staff, and the
public. Collaborates with other school and district personnel, assigned police officer,
representatives of local agencies for the purpose of preliminary inquiries into violations of school
board policies and providing information and/or taking action, etc. for the safety and security of
school site.

INVESTIGATOR, FUGITIVE RECOVERY INVESTIGATIONS
The primary function of a Fugitive Recovery Agent is to locate, arrest and return bail-secured
fugitives to the jurisdiction from which they fled. It is the responsibility of the Fugitive Recovery
Agent to know all applicable regulations and legal constraints wherever he travels to apprehend
a fugitive, including:
• Possession of firearms
• Application and amount of force that can be used
• Local regulations concerning fugitive pursuit
• Rights of entry
• Prisoner transport procedure/ locating fugitives, Performing background checks, tracing licenseSECURITY, PALOMAR HEALTH HOSPITALS
• Assist in conducting all fire drills within the hospital. Assisting patient restraint (i.e.
Emergency Department, Mental Health unit). Responsible for enforcing all parking
regulations and traffic control Responsible for the collection of all lost and found
items and produce the proper documentation and location of owner of property
when possible. Keep a daily activity log of all activities and calls for service.
• Floor patrols within the hospital as well as medical offices owned/operated by
Palomar Health Staff.
• Conduct campus patrols to include the parking deck. Respond to calls for morgue
duty. Routinely provide escort service to staff and visitors. Daily lock and unlock of
numerous buildings on campus. Respond to all alarm activation's and investigate
cause; conduct monthly testing of alarms.

• Assigned Duties to a Presidential Unit, consisted of state side and overseas trips in
support missions for the President of the United States.
• Including the 2012 Presidential Election Season. Duties include, Report writing,
vehicle traffic stops, DUI, searches, apprehension, defensive tactics, dispatch and
monitor surveillance of highly top-secret facilities. Foot and vehicle patrol.
