EDUCATION

Syracuse University: Whitman School of Management
Bachelor of Science, Management (May 2006)

I would like to submit my resume and a photo for consideration for the position of House Manager. I would also like to give you a little background information about myself, and give you an idea of who I am. My name is Michael Adams, and I grew up in the midwest (Michigan and Illinois). I studied business management at Syracuse University, and after that had the opportunity to live in NYC, and did so for about 7 years, before coming to LA 3 years ago. I have had the luxury of working in many different industries throughout my career, from fashion modeling, to managing high-end fashion boutiques in NYC, to being the Executive Assistant and Business Development Manager for a boutique design firm in Chicago/New York. I balanced my work as both a personal and professional assistant, and no task was too big or too small. I juggled many tasks at once, and do not get overwhelmed by a full plate. I think during this extended period of time, learning different industries, and being around all walks of life, it has given me a lovely balance in life, and I have been able to learn from lots of great people. I am a very independent worker and a forward thinker. I trust myself enough to work well independently, and have strengths as a self-starter, who can motivate myself to get done what is needed, while being efficient. Additionally, I find balance in working as part of a team, and blending to work together with different minds, and create solutions together. I believe myself to be a rational thinker, but also a very outside the box mind. I have creative strengths and the ability to think critically. I had the pleasure of stepping away from my career for a couple years and being the personal caretaker for my grandfather before he passed. This experience brought me invaluable lessons that have helped me in my life. Patience, empathy, and a self-less approach to life, are just a few of the traits that I feel I have developed through this life-changing experience. Throughout all my experiences, personally and professionally, I feel that having had a balance of opportunities and different experiences to learn from, it has helped to stay grounded, and learn a lot from others. I am now at a stage in my life where I am looking to find and immerse myself in an opportunity where I can grow, and put my strengths to use, while helping those around me. Thanks and take care.

Best,

Michael C. Adams
