Miami Foundation
I am currently taking online Masters courses to get my online Master’s Degree in Public Administration at the University of Miami and will be graduating in May 2020. Although I do not have the years of experience in Programs and Grant development, I am confident that the courses I have taken in my Master’s program have prepared me for a position like the one I am currently applying for. Additionally, I have worked in several administrative settings that consist of customer service and front facing interactions with the public.
As an undergraduate student, I interned with the District Attorney’s Office in White Plains, New York in the Domestic Violence and Special Prosecutions Department. During this time I observed and aided attorneys, therapists, and social workers supporting victims of crimes. I want to continue being a part of an organization that helps the community by overseeing the incoming funds and aid that will eventually benefit the community.
