HIGHLIGHTS OF RELATED CLINICAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

I am managing human resources issues with a focus on mental health disparities.

I. Currently, as a human resource professional with a mental health focus, I have been challenged by senior management when attempting to bridge economic and sociological differences when it comes to hiring. Non-specialist health professionals, lay workers, affected individuals, and caregivers with brief training and appropriate supervision by mental health specialists can detect, diagnose, treat, and monitor individuals with mental disorders; this is not the case when working and managing individual outside of the mental health environment. Human Resources personnel with mental health backgrounds must continue to focus the discussion of scale-up costs, and mental health initiatives when it comes to low-income and middle-income candidates and hiring of diversity candidates.

II. When focusing on positive experiences and positive induvial traits in the work environment, I am able to assist management with facilitated positive situational outcomes with both associate and supervisory relationships.

III. Usage of piratical assessment tools domains; pleasure, engagement, and meaning while assisting in the workforce in positive choice development as it applies to self-awareness and self-fulfillment outcome.

IV. Awareness and implementation of multicultural awareness within Corporate American, has played an essential role in cultural context, so learning how to approach situations within diverse cultures has allowed both associate and management to bridge communication barriers thus create optimum inroads to conducting positive outcomes.

V. Ensuring corporate awareness of mental health challenges within the organization is critical. I have reviewed and collaborated with mental health professionals through the Employee Assistant Program (EAP), to ensure both the associate and the company is protected, and outcomes are successful.

VI. As a Domestic Violence Advocate for Jamaa Foundation, I have partnered with Kaiser Permanente during their Mental Health Focus Events, to ensure that the general public is aware of choices when faced with asking for assistance when a person is attempting to battle through this highly volatile situation.
