I wanted to write this letter not only to exhibit my eagerness to be a part of the industry, but to also give a little bit of background on my employment history. Over the past 3 years I have moved 3 times. After graduating undergrad, I moved from Frederick to Richmond. A year after moving to Richmond, due to my boyfriend being a contract employee, we moved from Richmond back to Frederick. With this and a combination of other factors, finding a reliable job has been beyond difficult. The last job I had was over a year ago at a Plato’s Closet in Richmond. After a few months of working there, I resigned so I could undergo TMS treatments everyday and take myself off 3 medications. I was told by my employer that I was always welcome to come back.
Not only do I enjoy being around other people, but I also feel a genuine urge to want to help others. In the past 3 years, I have been able to stop taking 4 different medications with the help of CBD and medical cannabis. The goal since I graduated undergrad has been to do a lot of work on my health and improve my life quality. I have been taking anti anxiety medications of all kinds since I was 13 years old. I am familiar with the damage that pharmaceuticals can do on the body after prolonged use. I want to be able to share the knowledge I have obtained to combat anxiety, pain, depression, and PTSD with other people who are struggling like me who want other options other than pills.
