Katy Ellis Interior Design, London, UK, Internship February- April 2018
• Assisted the Creative Director of the independently run design firm with
consulting clients on location in Central London during three-month study abroad
• Managed the shop while Creative Director was consulting on Location including taking packages, receiving clients, attending outside contractors and taking phone calls
• Designed 3D models of clients interiors in Sketchup
• Assisted Creative Director with selecting fabrics and furnishings in preparation
for consultations
Disney’s D23 Expo 2017 Design Challenge, Finalist July 2017
• Submitted detailed sketch and pitch for the 50th anniversary of Pirates of the Caribbean
• Selected 1 of 23 to display finished artwork at the Expo
• Over six weeks brought the sketch into a fully rendered piece ready for display
• Interviewed about artwork and process at the Convention
“Uptown Girl” –Animated Feature Pitch September 2018- December 2019
• Created characters and story treatment based on the fairytale Cinderella
• Pitched project and adjusted based on feedback
• Development on character designs and visual styling
“Rouge: A Space Odyssey”- Narrative Illustrations December 2017
• Created six illustrations based on original space fantasy
• Presented work and adjusted based on critique before final submission
