Texas Advocacy Project - Austin, TX
January 2019 to Present
• Conduct research on Texas laws that concern Texas Advocacy Project's clients, such at same-sex parental rights and evolving laws about distribution of intimate visual material
• Update documents that Texas Advocacy Project provides to clients so that clients can be as informed as possible when consenting to disclosure of their personal information
• Organize staff attorneys' files in order to ensure legal work can be completed efficiently

Interpersonal Violence Peer Support Program (UT Austin) - Austin, TX
August 2017 to Present
• Conduct in-person appointments with students at University of Texas at Austin (UT) who have been impacted by interpersonal violence, providing them with emotional support, options, and university/community resources within survivor-centered empowerment framework
• Conceptualize workshop about how to support survivors that will be presented to different UT student groups
• Aid with day-to-day operations of IVPS by completing administrative and outreach tasks
• Received 40 hours of training, along with ongoing Continuing Education about topics such as protective orders

Rapoport Center for Human Rights and Justice (UT Austin) - Austin, TX

• Collaborated with Rapoport Center team in preparation for events, such as Fall 2018 Puerto Rico Symposium, assembling biographies of attendees, conducting research about topics that events concern, and completing other assigned administrative tasks

• Crafted research paper about how process of death penalty traumatizes and re--traumatizes family members of people executed by state and family members of death row inmates' murder victims
• Designed public health questionnaire for Texas After Violence Project's future project where narrative data will be collected about health concerns of formerly incarcerated, loved ones of the executed, and loved ones of those who died in police/prison/jail custody
• Transcribed audio of interviews conducted by the Texas After Violence Project

Women's Rights in Tunisia Research Project (UT Austin) - Austin, TX
January 2017 to August 2017
• Assisted Dr. Mounira Charrad (Associate Professor of Sociology) with researching Tunisian feminist movements
• Navigated scholarly databases, such as JSTOR and ProQuest Sociological Abstracts, and extracted academic sources that related to feminist movement in Tunisia
• Implemented sources collected into research software OneNote, in order to organize sources by topic and make abstracts easily accessible for Dr. Charrad

• Co-orchestrated curriculum, logistics, and overarching goals of Multicultural Leadership Institute, an activism-oriented and weekly leadership institute that took place over six weeks and resulted in
certification for its 25 participants that were selected through an application process
