My name is Megan Williams. I am extremely professional, diligent, punctual, and make all the deadlines I am given. My main goal is to work large events, work great product and content jobs, and put spectacular content out time after time.

I specialize in low-light, venue shots, like concerts, shows, and big events, but love to shoot everything from festivals to parades, to sports, to portraits, food, and inventory.
I have a keen eye for the right shot, and the patience to get it.

My goal is to do more LGBTQ events, concerts, festivals, and concerts. This is my community and I am passionate about covering them.

Responsibilities:
I am always responsible for all my own equipment including lenses and lighting (if applicable).
I have always been responsible for getting myself to and from venues, I am stickler for being on time, if not early.

I make sure I play with different angles during a concert, session, festival, or event to get a number of different shots ranging from up close to wide angled.
I am responsible for all editing and post-event image enhancing.

I have worked with several professional venues as well as their staff to ensure everything has gone smooth and I can do my job to the best of my ability.

I also promote said event, concert, artist, etc. Along with being responsible for sharing and posting material on social media to spread the word about the venue, and artist.

Studied for 2 years at Kalamazoo College

I started my own photography business starting with architectural photos. This rapidly gravitated into candid portrait photography, and within the last five years into venue, concert, festival and artist photography. I travel to my clients, venues, festivals, or wherever my employer needs me to go. I am extremely professional, punctual and passionate, especially about covering the LGBTQ community.

Zone Magazine- June 2018 to Present
I am responsible for attending music festivals and photographing all the artists. I am also responsible for conducting on camera interviews with the artists at times.
Gay Star News-May 2018 to Present.
I am responsible for attending and covering special LGBTQ weekends, parties, pride events,
concerts, or anything else that my editor would like me to work on. I am frequently sent from
state to state in the US to cover multiple events. I worked Dinah Shore for GSN, and will work
San Francisco Pride for them at the end of June.
Curve Magazine- June 2018 to Present
I am a photojournalist for Curve Magazine which centers around the LGBTQ community. I do a lot of Pride festivals, expose pieces, and one-off stories about influential people in our community.
