As a wildlife care assistant, I gained hands-on experience in caring for and handling injured wildlife. My responsibilities in this role included diet preparation, feeding, enclosure cleaning, and assisting veterinary staff in the handling of patients during examinations. I was also able to participate in wildlife releases following their rehabilitation.
