Professional Biography
This past spring, I graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing, and a minor in Art History. I’ve completed a semester-long internship in the education department at the Akron Art Museum, and was elected President of the Akron Painting and Drawing League for two years while at the University of Akron. The scholarships I have received in college include the Gillette Outstanding Upperclassman Myers Art Studio Scholarship, the Gillette Outstanding Underclassman Myers Art Studio Scholarship, and the 2017 Folk Charitable Foundation Venice Biennale International Travel and Study of Art Scholarship. In the future, I plan to pursue a graduate degree and career in art therapy.
