• I take great pride and joy in serving the community. I have volunteered in my church’s nursery every Sunday since Spring 2011 (every other Sunday since 2014).
• I founded a non-profit organization named Kids Need Our Words (KNOW) in 2014 that specialises in free tutoring for students in reading and math.
• I am currently working on a new non-profit that will empower high school girls in the STEM field.
• In April 2019, I started a quarterly digital publication (Down for the Cause Magazine) that spotlights politics, style, and work life designed for young women entering the workforce (18-30 year olds). Raised Instagram following to over 1,000 followers in three months.
• Conducted undergraduate research concerning the disparity of success between African Americans and 1.5 to second generation Nigerian Americans.
