ADV 455 (Creative advertising) focused on print, TV, and radio ads. STCM 325 (Strategic AD/PR writing) helped develop my creative writing skills. JRL 225 (Media Tools & Applications) has gotten me more familiar with photo and video editing software (photoshop, Final Cut).

Volunteered as a camp counselor for Holt International in five different locations. Holt’s Summer program invites adoptees for a week-long camp to talk about adoption and share adoption experiences. Creating bonds with campers assuring them adoption makes them unique and there is nothing to be afraid of.

Volunteered at a homeless shelter providing a bed and pillow for anyone in need of help through the night. Each member gets a hot meal along with sleeping arrangements until 6:30 am. Brown paper breakfast packs are prepared and distributed to each member as they leave.

Lead a team of professionals removing contents from damaged homes such as fires, floods, and mold and stored in our warehouse. Determined if certain contents could be washed/ fixed or too damaged to return. After home is repaired, we return the contents back to their rightful place. Used an iCat system to take pictures of contents and keep inventory.
