Co-Editor | UNC Asheville Headwaters Creative Arts Journal | August 2018-May 2019
Lead weekly meetings discussing budget, timelines, and aesthetic of new issue. E-mailing administrators about budgets and proposing events related to Headwaters such as an Open-Mic and end-of-year reception for the journal. Responsible for overseeing interns and volunteers (judging submissions and discussing protocol for judging.) Head of social media/marketing.
Barista | Old Europe Coffee | Dec. 2016 - Present
Greeting customers, answering questions about coffee and pastries in detail, holding down a line for up to 6 hours while making espresso drinks, serving pastries, and washing dishes. Also, to count the register drawer and back-up change, answer phone calls and take special orders. Cleaning/closing duties achieved with proficiency.
FILM WORK:
I have dedicated my main hobby towards film appreciation, film production, and writing/directing my own short films since childhood. My formal education in Literature and Creative Writing, as well as plenty of film courses, have help hone my craft as a writer/director/editor.
