Level II-A Texoma Medical Center Outpatient Physical Rehabilitation- Denison, TX August-October 2017 Utilized techniques, tools, assessments, and therapeutic activities and exercises to help clients with various hand injuries manage pain, inflammation, and wound care. Routinely used whirlpool baths, ultrasonic machines, ultraviolet and infrared lamps, neuromuscular electrical stimulation, kinesio-tape, orthotics, and instrumental-assisted soft-tissue manipulation to improve patients� physical health and comfort. Recommended equipment and in-home modifications.

Level II-B Pate Rehabilitation- Anna, TX October-December 2017 Utilized PERPOS, FIM/FAM, MPAI-4 and other accepted measurement tools to evaluate, monitor success and encourage progress. Provide six-hours of Physical, Cognitive, Emotional, and Behavioral treatment for inpatient rehab. Treatment focused on orientation, basic activities of daily living, communication, basic life skills, recreation and leisure and safety within the home and community.

I have volunteered at skilled nursing facilities, homeless shelters, Goodwill, North Texas Food Bank, AmerisourceBergen, Progressive Insurance, AT&T, and many other local companies being an advocate for the Occupational Therapy profession and Massage Therapy profession.
