Martino Simone curriculum

Martino Simone was born in 1991 in Clusone, (Italy). He starts playing piano at the age of 8 under the guidance of Diego Terreni in Cecina (Italy).
He has partecipated to several masterclasses with internationally known teachers such as Andrzej Jasi?ski (International Sommerakademie Mozarteum Salzburg 2010), Paolo Francese, Andrea Bonatta, Tatiana Larionova, Igor Tchetuev, Einar Smebye, Alessandro Deljavan, Ana Guijarro and John Rink.
He has received top prizes in national and international piano competitions: first prize at “Riviera Etrusca” in Piombino, second prize at “Crescendo” in Firenze, and first prize at “Premio Helena Sá e Costa” in Porto. From 2009 to 2011 he has studied with Marco Baraldi at the Conservatory “Pietro Mascagni” of Livorno (Italy). From 2011 to 2014 he continued his musical studies with Davide Cabassi at the Conservatory “Claudio Monteverdi” of Bolzano (Italy). In the academic year 2014/2015 he has been an Erasmus student at the Hochschule fur Musik, Theater und Medien of Hannover (Germany), in the class of Igor Tchetuev and in 2015 he finished his Bachelor in piano with maximum grade and laude. In 2019 he completed the Master in piano performance at Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espectáculo in Porto (Portugal).
From 2017 to 2019 he works as piano accompanist and korrepetitor at Conservatório de Voz, Comunicação e Artes Performativas do Porto VOCARE.
