I have a great deal of work experience pertaining to teamwork as I currently work with a group of teachers and teaching assistants helping students enhance their knowledge in mathematics at Hunter College. I even developed a strong sense of leadership and public speaking skills as I manage a variety of problems amongst different students on a daily basis. I have also done similar duties at schools in Brooklyn such as St. Patrick’s Academy. Jobs such as that often involve acting with patience as I assisted kids with homework. Overall, these valuable skills allow me to become a personable and understanding speaker when interacting with students often stressed about workloads. Being warm and welcoming to students has become a quality I uphold above all else. In terms of working in a clerical environment and dealing with patients, I also have a lot of experience. As a clerical working for Dr. Rosemary Ruggiero-DeCarlo, I dealt with a lot of paper filing, answering phones, handling insurance, and greeting and communicating with a large flow of patients each day.

I would be an asset to your program because of my eagerness to learn, my willingness to work hard and my ability to be a great team player. I also have a great love for all animals and wish to help in any way I can. As a result, I walk dogs, and I watch and care for family pets in my neighborhood whenever I am asked for help. I would greatly appreciate a position with you as I feel your program would be a wonderful opportunity for me to learn about animal care, as well as gain proper hands on experience with a professional or team of professionals. That is, working under a veterinarian would be an amazing experience as I can learn all that there is to the application processes from someone who went through it as well as the day to day life of a veterinarian.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Marisa Delliturri
