Future Aims

I have a keen interest in research and sub-tidal marine ecology and a passion for the protection of the marine environment. I plan to play a part in the formation of management plans that aid in the protection and maintenance of biodiversity in our worlds oceans.

I would love to travel and work abroad to experience new cultures and languages and to be able to network with other scientists in my field. I believe that experience abroad will diversify and expand my network and is extremely valuable in improving social and communicative skills.

I am eager to develop new skills such as obtaining my coastal night-rated skippers licence, and am in the process of completing my dive supervisors certificate. I also plan to further my knowledge and skills in project design, data analysis and management.
