I have just finished my third year at university and will graduate in July. I am on track to achieve a 2:1. I am hardworking, have excellent communication skills, I love to read, write, teach and learn and have developed these all through my degree and work experience. I would love to be a journalist, copywriter or work in the publishing industry.

Employment History:
The Badger Newspaper (University of Sussex student paper) June 2018 – Present
I am the comment editor for The Badger, our university newspaper. It is published every fortnight. I write at least one article for every edition, source other articles, oversee all work done by my sub-editors, proof and edit work and format it all onto Adobe InDesign. I have to work to a tight deadline alongside my final year studies which demonstrates my organisational skills. . I have written articles on plastic pollution, fast fashion, anxiety at university and palm oil. This is a voluntary position.
Title Media (Marketing, publishing and online magazines) Journalism Internship June-August 2018
I worked for 8 weeks as a journalist intern at Title Media. I wrote many articles, some of which gave the online publication some of its highest traffic. I learnt how to upload and edit articles on Wordpress, how to use Dropbox, Content Cal, MailChimp and a lot about the industry. This internship gave me a taste for journalism and I loved every moment. I have been asked to continue to write for them as a freelancer, which I will continue to do in my third year at university.
Twickenham Studios (TW1 The Lounge) – Kitchen assistant – October 2018
I have worked here whenever I am back from University for the last year. I have to prepare high quality food for an exclusive restaurant for cast and production members at the studios – The Lounge. This involves working to a high standard and under pressure. We constantly get fantastic feedback on our food. I believe that this job has shown I work well under stress and I can remain calm.
Shooting Partners (Camera and equipment rental) – May – August 2016 and June – August 2017
I worked here as an office assistant in summer 2016 and was asked to come back in 2017 due to them needing help during the busy summer months. I took care of admin, answered the phone, sourced products to sub-rent and communicated with clients daily. The fact that I was asked to come back the following year demonstrates that I was a valued member of the office and I learnt a lot, I was always punctual and adaptable to any task.
Ski season – St. Anton January 2016 – April 2016
I worked for four months in a chalet as a chalet co- host. This involved catering, cleaning and attending to guests 6 days a week, working up to 13 hours in a day, hosting clients and delivering excellent customer service for high net worth clients. This was very hard work but I thoroughly enjoyed working under pressure and achieving client satisfaction, which was often reflected in my guest feedback forms. In addition to this I learnt to snowboard, which was fantastic.
Waitrose Twickenham, November 2014 – December 2015, Retail Assistant
I initially worked on checkouts, but developed onto working on the welcome and customer service desk. This progression was due to the fact I was considered great with customers and reacted well in sometimes difficult and stressful situations, such as customer complaints and click and collect orders around Christmas.

• Cooking and baking: I cook fresh meals everyday, have basic cooking training and am passionate about food
• Academic: attending extra lectures at university and philosophy society (PhilSoc)
• Gardening: I attend Sussex Roots, the gardening society twice a week
