Legal Secretary
My name is Colleen Park and I am your average millennial striving to find something that I am passionate about. I have a passion for planning and executing events and I love seeing people’s reactions to the memories that are being made.
I know that I have no work experience in this field but I have planned multiple birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, and proposals for friends around me. I have also led a team of 10 people that planned bi-annual retreats at my church for around 120 people for the past 4 years. I have worked in every aspect of planning an event, from the logistical elements to the creative and artistic aspects. Some of the tasks I have overseen were, being in contact with the venue, payment, keeping logs of attendees, distributing tasks among my members, working in the background to make sure that little details were not overlooked, giveaways, social media updates, planning and actually decorating the area, and to make sure that my team is also taken care of as well. I am good at both taking charge and leading and also working in the background and focusing on the details. Everything that I’ve done was 100% voluntary and I’ve loved every moment of it, including the stress and the hiccups that come up along the planning process and the day of the actual event.
Right now I do a lot of logistical tasks for my current job. The main thing that I do is process all the correspondence that comes through our office and file them away so that everything is organized.
