Objective
I spent almost two years working for an Equine Veterinarian in Farmer City, Illinois until he retired at the age of 81. I spent my days assisting with paitent consults, giving vaccines, wrapping legs and feeding as well as assisting with surgeries. After graduating Parkland College with my Associates Degree I transferred to Mississippi State University where I am working on getting my Bachelors Degree.

De-tasseled corn and walked beans for one some as seasonal help.

Worked as a sales representative on the floor, selling and promoting clothes to customers as well as working the cash register and answering telephones.

C.J. Morris and Sons Farm Equipment September 2014- April 2017

Worked as a receptionist, answering phones, doing inventory, working closely with customers and managing the company website.

Dr. Thomas Monfort & Associates Equine Hospital May 2017- February 2018

Worked as a veterinary assistant for almost a year until my boss retired at the age of 81. Assisted with surgeries, patient consults, wrapping legs, giving vaccines and feeding and taking care of horses as well as keeping the facility clean and organized.

I have very good people skills along with horse handling skills. I have grown up around horses and feel extremely comfortable around them. I can confidently interact with clients and assist them with their horses and or questions they may have. I work well with other people and can handle working under pressure.
