Team Operations & Support 2018-2019 Bowl Season
Orlando, FL
• Assist in the scheduling of team travel to and from Florida Citrus Sports coordinated bowl games (Citrus Bowl & Camping World Bowl.)
• Chief point of contact with teams’ respective Director of Operations individuals in regards to all aspects of the Bowl Game experience and team commitments.
• Part of the Florida Citrus Sports operations team that greet university delegations and conduct site visits with all teams selected for participation.
• Assist in the organization and implementation of respective bowl game sponsored events such as bowl game players luncheons, Breakfast with Santa, and A Day for Kids,
• Organize and implement bowl game facets to include the student-athlete (players), coaches, and family suites at respective team hotels; as well as the bowl game gift programs.
• Assist with bowl games Media Day, to ensure appropriate credentialing for respective football program and their administrative and operations staffs, as well as troubleshoot any unforeseen issues that may arise.

Florida Classic Assistant September – November 2018

• Instrumental in all aspects of the 40th Florida Blue Florida Classic football competition between Bethune-Cookman University and Florida A&M University.
• Serve as a member of the Florida Classic Consortium, the oversight committee for the historic football game
• Participate in all planning events leading up to the FBFC, including site visit to Camping World Stadium, team operations meeting, and logistics conference calls to ensure both institutions were prepared for game day.
• Responsible for the ordering of game trophies and related individual awards.
• Involved in the restructuring discussion for the Florida Blue Florida Classic multi-year agreement with both institutions.
• Assisted in logistical planning for the Florida Blue Florida Classic Kickoff Luncheon, including team transportation, in-program entertainment, and menu preparation.
• Responsible for selling large volume of luncheon tables to corporate sponsors and individual alumni members to generate revenue for the Florida Classic Consortium revenue split.
• Manage all aspects of 2018 Battle of Bands, to include extensive planning and execution with both institutions marching bands Band Directors and administrations. In addition, responsible for ensuring appropriate media coverage and sponsor satisfaction of the event.
• Responsible for game day logistics including triaging issues with event vendors, assisting in the resolving of ticket issues, and acting as point of contact for both institutions Director of Operations on field level.

Arroyo Seco Baseball June 2017 – August 2017

• Managed in game operations including keeping official score, roster management, and communicated to equipment personnel daily lineups to ensure proper uniforms were readily available.
• Assisted with organizing team travel in and around the state of California for the team’s summer schedule.
• Act as liaison to members of the visiting media and sports writers to schedule needed interviews and ensure they receive needed information about players and members of the organization.

Assistant to Director of Football Operations August 2013 – May 2017

• Instrumental in day-to-day operations for the Bethune-Cookman Wildcat football program.
• Acted as the second in charge in all aspects of football operations to include; scheduling charter buses, communicating and receiving quotes for hotels for away travel, and organizing all catering needs for home and away contests for team, coaches, and administrative staff.
• Responsible to attend 120 minute meetings at away games and communicating pertinent information to coaching staff and other administration.
• Liaison during home games to game day personnel from the City of Daytona and representatives from the leased community field.
• Assisted in the collection of sizes from student-athletes for the annual Travel Blazer ordering, to ensure proper fit and accurate quantity.
• Assisted in the ordering of apparel from Russel and then Nike vendors for operations staff.
• Responsible for communication with athletic ticket office on behalf of coaches for home contests, to orchestrate guest will call.
• Coordinate MEAC Championship ring process for four championship seasons, to include collecting sizes from all players and coaches, confirming the design with ring manufacturer Jostens, distributing to all parties, and arranging for replacements for any issues that arose.

Assistant to Head Football Coach August 2013 – November2016

• Acted in capacity as special assistant to the Head Coach Brian Jenkins for two seasons, Head Coach Terry Sims for additional two; to assist in any tasks that arose during the day.
• Primary duties centered on preparing for away game travel and daily tasks completed before daily practice.
• Created itineraries for all recruiting trips to include air and ground travel, high school addresses and directions, and copies of prospective student-athlete video footage being easily accessible.

Assistant to the Director of Orientation/Head Orientation Leader August 2014 – May 2017

• Assisted in all aspects of preparing for New Student-Orientation
• Orchestrated and facilitated trainings for 20 peers to become orientation leaders for the summer 2015 and 2016 orientation cycles.

• Responsible for trouble shooting problems from new students and parents in relation to issues with dorm rooms, replacing keys, liaising with the Office of Admissions, and assisting with the student registration process.
