I am interested in the Laboratory Technician position at your Georgetown, KY facility. After spending 13 years with Wood, Plc. and receiving my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Kentucky, I believe my skills and experience working in the laboratory, consulting and quality control/assurance field(s) would be able to provide you with the work and knowledge needed.

In my time as an Environmental Technician, I performed studies and provided in-field oversight on many environmentally impacted sites for confidential clients. On these sites, I oversaw and took part in the testing, remediation and restoration of contamination impacted areas to meet regulatory standards. During my time as a student, I took part in research with Dr. Marcelo Guzman and his team performing investigation in the field of environmental and atmospheric studies using various spectroscopic analyses.

I have also analyzed data obtained to provide documents necessary for compliance and general reporting using Microsoft software, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Sigma Plot. I have generated SOPs, work plans, appendices, figures, and analytical tables detailing statistics related to various quality control/assurance processes.

I look forward to the chance to discuss further the opportunity of working in the brewing and laboratory fields with you all. You can reach me at any time on my cell phone at ------------, or by email at ------------. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Jacob A. Morris
