As part of the GMP reconciliation team I was responsible for accurate reconciliation of data in order to determine who is liable pay out money to members of several pensions schemes and ensure they are paid the correct amount.

May 16 – May 17 RPMI, Darlington Pensions Administrator
A member of the GMP reconciliation team, I provided administrative support to several areas of the Railway Pensions Scheme as well as Third Party Administration. I was required to interpret complex information whilst communicating effectively in a fast-paced environment to deliver an excellent service.

Jun. 15 – May 16 Capita, Darlington Pensions Administrator
As a Pensions Administrator, I worked in several areas of the company, gaining valuable knowledge and experience rewarding benefits to members of the Teachers’ Pensions Scheme. My final role was as a GMP Reconciliation Administrator completing accurate calculations and reconciling data.

In a call centre environment, I took calls from customers with high incomes to solve a wide range of queries. I was responsible for ensuring that confidentiality is maintained at all times and customers’ financial inquiries are addressed with sensitivity and accuracy. I was responsible for assessing customers’ applications for student finance and awarded funding to students based on a range of criteria; often assessing financial evidence sent in to the company like P60s and tax returns to determine eligibility.

I provided a professional and pleasant dining experience for guests and was responsible for multi-tasking, taking customer orders, preparing drinks and desserts, table service and clearing away. I used and maintained coffee machines, successfully trained new staff, achieved 100% customer feedback on the company website and enjoyed interacting with customers in a fast-paced role.

I play piano to Grade 7 standard, enjoy socialising with friends as well as time spent with my family and maintain a good standard of fitness by going to the gym. I take a keen interest in fashion, look forward to shopping trips and enjoy travelling and visiting new places. To relax I enjoy hiking, reading and listening to music.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• I hold both American and British citizenship, having lived in Arizona for the first 11 years of my life before moving to North Yorkshire with my British family; I feel this has given me more awareness of cultures and a varied experience of life. I have now returned to the US to settle down.
