A little about me:
I was born and raised in Lawrence, Kansas where I’ve attended school and continued my schooling at the University of Kansas. I decided to take some time off and want to fill that time with relocating and hopefully finding a family I fit and love. I grew up watching my mom run a daycare and finding a love for children. I work really hard for what I have and know that things don’t come easy. I’m very friendly and have great patience. I love being active and doing activities outdoors. Family is something I value deeply and know that family is there for you at the end of the day.

Qualifications:
• CPR Certified

Childcare Experience:

Kidtopia Station Daycare June 2011- Sept. 2012
Volunteer Teacher Assistant, Various ages
Being so young and working at the daycare I mostly assisted teachers in the classrooms. I went to any classroom that needed a set of extra hands if they were over numbers or if they went on field trips. The ages ranged from 1-5 and there were 4 classrooms. For the older kids room I would go on fieldtrips with them and making sure everyone is where they are supposed to be. I would help with snack and nap time for the kids under the age of 4.

Streeter Family Lawrence, KS 2011-2016
Babysitter, Three Children, ages 4, 6, & 8
I would babysit the Streeter boys when the parents would go out for date night or a special occasion. We would either have movie nights, play board games, or indoor games. Since I had them at night time I would prepare them for bed and making sure they get their pjs on, brush their teeth, and go potty before. The boys liked to call their parents before going to bed and then I would read them books. Some summers I watched them during the day and would take them bowling or go to the park to play. I watched these boys for about 5 years and still keep in contact with them today.

Wiley Family Lawrence, KS Oct. 2017-current
Part-time Nanny, Two Children, ages 4 & 12
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I pick up the 4 year old girl from preschool and take her home. I’m responsible for making sure she gets lunch when we get home. During our free time we creative play, color, or find an activity outside. I enjoy playing with her and making sure she is enjoying my company. For naptime we read books and I encourage her to read them with me. When I have both of the girls we do activities like going to the pool, going on walks, or doing anything outside of the house. I love finding things to do outside of the house because I know kids get bored easily at home. The mother is a single mom and has a hectic traveling schedule so I try my best to accommodate her needs. Numerous times she has asked me last minute to come over early or stay longer and I’m there. I’ve bonded with the girls forming a special relationship and have great trust between us.
