? ?Since working as a Desk Assistant, DA, it has given me a chance to improve my customer service. I interact with students, families, guests and College personnel on a regular basis which improves my professional manner. Making the environment safe for the residents and reporting any suspicious activity was a major duty as a DA. It was important to keep a positive representation not only of myself but for the department and the College.

? ?The program enforces a safe environment as well as removal of any abuse that can occur and responding to those who have been personally affected whether being victims or survivors. I have helped in events, attended workshops and did volunteer work that would benefit events that were being done. This program protects those on campus to make them feel safe anywhere they may be and know that they have somewhere that is reachable and able to help.
