Objective
I am looking for an educational outlet outside of the college classroom. Dedicated to hard work, creativity, and teamwork. I am a Reliable worker, who is always up for a challenge and ready to give 110% in anything I do.
Experience/Volunteerism
Health and Wellness Director at Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity, Beta Gamma Chapter [Present]
I organize events pertaining to not only the physical health of our chapter but also the mental. College can be overwhelming but having a well-structured environment has proven to uplift sprites and encourage a positive work ethic in and out of the classroom. Through this experience, I have learned valuable leadership, communication and organizational skills.
Saginaw Township Soccer Association: Soccer Referee [2011-2018]
As a soccer referee, I have to be ready to make a call in seconds. Refereeing is a very taxing job that is both physically and emotionally draining. I learned to stand up for what is right and use constructive criticism when something goes wrong.
Zhender’s Splash Village Of Frankenmuth: Lifeguard [2015-2018]
Lifeguard for indoor water park. I am certified lifeguard in CPR, tracheotomy, deep water, and beach surveillance. I learned valuable communication skills, structure, and discipline during my time as a water park lifeguard.
Saginaw Township Community Schools: Water Aerobics Instructor [Summer of 2018]
I am a certified water aerobics instructor. I led water aerobics three times a week in front of 25+ adults. It was loads of fun and a great experience. I learned how to construct and organize a class and mastered communication skills within a large group setting.
FORCE – Saginaw Community Foundation Youth Grant Organization [2015-2018]
FORCE is a branch off of the Saginaw Community Foundation, where high school students from around the tri-city area come together and learn about the grant making process and grant real money to child focused organizations around Michigan. We have granted out more than $100,000 to organizations such as Girls on the Run and Anti-Bullying presentations. I have learned to work as a unified team from this experience and now understand what goes into the grant making process and volunteerism.
