Work Experience

Valley Christian High Varsity Cheerleading Coach-(June 2017-Current)
As a coach I reconstructed the cheerleading model for this high school. Worked to make the team a stunting, tumbling, and competition oriented (as per CIF) team instead of just a sideline dance. The program has been so successful this season that I have taken on the administration/advisor work for the new 18-19 season. Coaching consists of creating routines and meeting deadlines, handling behavior and guidance for the athletes as well as constructing a creative and positive place for them to learn and grown. As a partial admin, I will be handling all uniform package ordering, coordinating and planning. I will lead all team information meetings, and coordinate events like Homecoming, Senior night, and Kids clinic.
Catalina Tumble & Cheer (April 2017- Current)
Owner and Director of Avalons finest (and largest) specialty program. Catalina Islands only youth Tumbling, Dance, Toddler and Ninja program. I write the programming, advertise, coach tumbling, organize and update all program files and oversee all the staff and athletes. Currently we have 3 staff that coach and over 70 kids who are enrolled. We run 5 classes of Dance and Tumbling, and 2 of Toddler and Ninja all in the duration of one Saturday.

American Gymnastics Academy (September 2016- April 2017)
Ran and organized front office of gym. Coordinated private lessons for coaches, scheduled students for classes and took payments. Worked directly with the Gym Owners to run the business smoothly and boost overall attendance.
San Diego Unified School District (June-August 2015) SEASONAL
Preschool Teachers Assistant Substitute, accompanied one other assistant in running the class room. Helping the students through the day, practicing literacy, hygiene, meal times, nap and games. Ages 2-5 years old.
YMCA Primetime Afterschool Program (November 2014- May 2016)
One of the few cheerleading coaches hired for the Primetime Afterschool Program. I ran a pilot program for Primetime to create a larger cheerleading department. Also teaching my very own Sign Language curriculum to students. Working both as a coach and regular staff for morning and afternoon shifts.
