Road safety analysis of Huron Church Road connecting to U. S
Software: SAS
Identified various parameters causing accidents and reduces the level of safety of the one of the busiest roads in Windsor. Conduct statistical test considering various parameters and established a statistical relationship among the factors. Determined the most vulnerable factors causing accidents and injuries and handed the Road safety report to City of Windsor for the review and re-structure of the road. The road safety report and suggested preventive measure lead to reduce number of fatal collisions and save the millions of dollars to City council.
Stress and strain analysis of 3D Bridge structure
Software: AutoCAD, HYPERMESH, ABAQUS
The term project considered of taking real life 3D structure and performs stress and strain analysis on the structure. The challenge was to prepare a structure in CAD and export it in the HYPERMESH to create a finite mesh i.e. finite element and then export to ABAQUS for analysis part. Performed lot of trial and errors to create the best mesh of the structure for the desired result.
Evaluation of Response Reduction Factor for R.C. Frame Structure
Software: STAAD PRO
Analyzed the effect of an earthquake on a 3D model of a multi-storey building by using different values of Response factor in STAAD Pro software. Recommended alternative design that can be used in construction to reduce the value of response reduction factor which will overall decrease the effect of an earthquake on the building.
Construction of Reed Bed Technology
Develop an actual prototype bases on the research finding for reducing BOD, COD, etc. in a very natural and Green way. Prototype was built with a filtered ingredient such as sand,gravel,etc. along with Reed found around the lake which helps in the self purification of the water with a high amount of BOD, COD, Cl, etc.The Project was applauded by Dean of the University and research articles were published in IJESIRD Journal under the name “Reed Bed Technology: A Review” Website: [------------]
