TOURING ACTOR/DIRECTOR
After an intensive two-week training, my tour-partner and I, a person I had just met, packed all supplies needed for a one-hour production with a cast of 64-children into a Ford F-150. We drove from Montana to Florida to begin our tour. Each week we drove to a new town in the Southeastern US, auditioned and cast 64-children on Monday, taught them the show and supervised them throughout the week, and performed the show on Friday or Saturday. This job required representing the company in a professional manner, following company procedures, submitting paperwork and financial information to the company, scheduling travel, meeting itineraries and schedules, communicating effectively and efficiently with a variety of people, thinking quickly and adaptively, and efficient and independent problem-solving.
