Juan Carlos Correa
PROFILE
Current Graduate student of the Academy of Art University, and recent graduate through
the University of New Mexico. I hold a 3.8 accumulative GPA, and a 4.02 GPA in my Media
Arts major. Throughout my tenure at UNM, I have had a strong focus on the philosophical
aspects of film, but, at the same time, I have utilized my theoretical knowledge into hands-on
practice. I am currently looking for a Graduate program that will allow me to further develop
both my philosophical curiosity and hands-on experience.

Wrote and read a personal critique for Solaris (1972) for UNM’s Arts Unexpected,
under the Arts Critics United section.

Photoshop, and many others. I have strong writing skills and a thirst for philosophical inquiry.
