RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
JUNIOR STATION MANAGER, TRIBE URBAN RADIO � 2019-PRESENT
As a junior station manager, I contribute for the establishment of a brand voice, which is crucial for the success of a start-up radio station. Bringing new development ideas to the team is one of my main roles. I am reviewing the quality of the sound and content, showcased by the presenters and give them feedback of how they can better their shows. For my short time at Tribe Urban Radio, I proved my extensive skills and knowledge of management, sound and presenting and was offered a slot of a Breakfast show starting in July.
FASHION/DEBATES EDITOR, NERVE MAGAZINE � 2016-2019
Being part of the Nerve Magazine team, I made numerous positive changes including pitching the idea of creating a Debates section and also, being the first ever debates editor at the magazine. The section continued to expand after I moved to my next position at Nerve. As a Fashion editor, I worked with fellow writers and introduced male fashion articles, which were not featured at previous editions of the magazine. Throughout my time at Nerve Magazine, I was able to take part and learn about every stage of the production from pitching ideas and editing to design and distribution.
RADIO PRESENTER, NERVE RADIO � 2016-2019
Being radio presenter gave me the opportunity to highlight my creativity. I came up with the idea, concept and name of the show. As a radio presenter, I created numerous unique segments and interviews and succeeded at getting my show on FM across Bournemouth and Poole. My role also included using variety of recording equipment and the operation of different radio studios.
NEWS WRITER/ AUDIO EDITOR, WESSEX FM � 2019 (WORK EXPERIENCE)
Working in the newsroom, I was writing scripts for the hourly radio bulletins and also articles for the Wessex FM website. I was also editing interview recordings and clips, contacting potential interviewees and fact-checking stories.
JUNIOR COPYWRITER / SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER - FIT LONDONERS � 2018
At the position of Junior Copywriter, I was writing blog posts and articles for different brands and businesses. Doing so, i noticed a gap in our own social media persistence that if changed could benefit the growth of the company. I was then hired as a Social Media Manager and was given a team of graphic designers to work with over all social media accounts. With that, I managed to grow Fit Londoners� social media following with almost 30%.
