· Job title: Network Technician
· Responsibilities: Running cat 5/6 cable and fiber optic cable to various server closets and locations around casino, managing cable loops and fiber loops on runs up to 1500ft, installing j hooks, support rings, stub throughs, server racks, and other network structures. Building large networks from start to finish.
· Terminating cat 5/6 onto male and female rj-45s, 66/110 phone blocks using punch tools or amp netconnect terminating tools. Managing cable into rack and patch panel
· testing and troubleshooting connectivity of network devices with fluke network testers and netool.io devices that utilize cat 5 and fiber connections.
· Responding to service calls on IP and analog phones, computers, and printers, in all departments of the peppermill. Communication skills, analytical skills necessary for understanding the problem users are having and fixing it.
· Replacing and fixing IP phones, analog phones, and phone lines in hotel rooms
· Wiring a 98 point cell phone booster system throughout the property to home run, each antenna using fiber and an ceiling mounted RAU device.
· I am required to be on call 24/7 every third week and must drive to different peppermill properties in my personal vehicle within 45 min to resolve urgent issues.
· Osha 10 certified and experienced in using ladders up to 12ft as well as single and double man lifts.

DCR Telecommunications– Reno NV, Feb ‘14– Oct ‘14
