I have worked in the education field for the past 12 years with students from kindergarten through high school. I have been conducting for churches and church choirs for the past 5 years. Recently, I was asked to be the assistnat conductor at CSUEB. I am in the process of acquiring my Masters in Choral Conducitng. CSUEB is where I have also conducted a secondary instrument ensemble, and the 4th movement of Beethoven's Mass in C Major. I was also the bass section leader for the CSUEB East Bay singers under the director of Dr. Buddy James. I have a private vocal studio, and sing for various choirs and program throughout the Bay Area. I clinic choirs, and teach group voice at various school/music programs in the Bay Area
EXPERIENCE

Music Teacher - Montalvin Manor K-8 School
I am the primary music teacher at Montalvin Manor in Richmond Ca. I teach general classroom music for grades TK-5. I teach choir for Grades 6-8. I am in charge of building curriculum, classroom management, developing lesson plans, working with staff and faculty, and organizing two performances annually with all grades.

PROGRAM COORDINATOR OF CARES EXTENDED LEARNING PROGRAM � 2012� PRESENT
Make sure to create an environment of positivity and academic excellence through the medium of after school based extended learning curriculum. The program coordinator is the direct supervisor at a given school site that in is charge of scheduling, compliance to grant and state quality standards, supervision of students, supervision of staff, lesion with school day staff and administration, communication with community and parents, CPR and first aid trained, Epi-pen trained, and all office work needed for each site.

Works with students in high quality enrichment program. Creates enrichment curriculum and planning/scheduling. Is tasked with the implementation of curriculum and overall quality of program.

Director of music at Calvary Apostolic Church Spanish Department. In charge of selecting, teaching , and performing music. Works with band and vocal department to develop a well tuned sound and create an environment of skillful musicianship and a sincere spirit of worship.
