I graduated in May 2015 with a 3.2 GPA. I moved back to Florida after graduation, and I am currently enrolled at St. Petersburg college. The major that I'm currently pursuing is communications, and the main goal is to become a traveling journalist one day.

While working at planet fitness I have been responsible for checking the scanned in paperwork double check it was entered in correctly, checking in each member to make sure they don't have any alerts in the system that they need to be notified of. Regular checks around the gym to make sure each station is fully stocked and clean for each member is very important. Cleaning the machines daily to make sure the equipment is sanitary and looking brand-new for the members. Take potential new members on tours of the facility and give them as much information about the current membership plans. Sign up guest and explain the details of their agreement of membership to them, answer any questions they might have, and help them around the facility if needed.

As a server, I made sure that I took care of each customer with a positive attitude and gave them a "wow" experience that made them come back not only for the food, but for a memorable time. I trained new hires, led employees, oversaw daily operations. I was a hostess for six months, I trained every new hostess that was hired. I moved up to a takeout server for three months, I trained every new server and take out server that was hired or moving up in a position. Finally I was a server for six months until I moved back to Florida after graduating from high school.
Experience
Over the past six years I have worked for a variety of businesses and I'm grateful for the experiences. Learning different skills and working with others has definitely brought a lot of great pros to each job.
Extra-Curricular Activities
During middle school and high school I was on the volleyball team for five years. By being apart of a team sport, I learned how vital communication and teamwork is in any situation. I also volunteered at two non-kill animal shelters since I was in 8th grade. By being apart of a foundation that gives everything to the animals, I developed the experience and ability to want to help others the best I can and put people before myself.
