WORK EXPERIENCE

Crane/Rigging Supervisor
North Florida Shipyards Inc. - Jacksonville, FL - October 2016 to March 2018

Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate, and supervise activities of workers engaged in all rigging and lifting activities,
to ensure compliance with safety procedures and method statements.
*Ship check specific rigging jobs prior to commencement of contract to identify the proper
rigging equipment that will be needed, to identify particular rigging routes and openings
available for movement and maneuvering, to identify any interference removals needed to clear
the rigging routes, to identify areas for crane set up, etc.
* Plan and coordinate the rigging and movement of equipment to, from, and through the interior
and exterior of Navy ships.
* Collaborate with Navy personnel in special situations in order to continue production and
minimize risks and delay
* Design and implement heavy lift plans and procedures
* Assist and determine the proper methods of lifting equipment for each assigned project
