� Oversee the complete event management for multiple signature events a year, ranging from 100 to 1,000 attendees, including annual luncheons, galas and conferences. Responsible for timeline management, vendor relations and development and production of event content. ?� Identified, recruited and managed event sponsors and volunteers. Developed open and ongoing communication channels with individuals connecting them to the programs and events that most interested them. Developed unique interactions and experiences with the Chamber for each individual and member company based on their specific needs.
� Staff liaison for multiple Chamber committees including, but not limited to, regional suburban chapters, governmental affairs and HR professional roundtables. Managed committee membership, meeting agendas and all planned programs associated with each committee.
� Collaborate with Chamber membership and partners on a daily basis via phone, e-mail and in person to implement the Chamber's ongoing program of work. ?


American Heart Association, SouthWest Affiliate: Houston, TX
Project Manager, EVP Operations (December 2014- present)
� After nearly 2 years of success in my role with the Foundation and Corporate Relations Departments, I was recruited to a newly created EVP Operations team. The purpose of the EVP Operations team is to enhance and elevate the reputation and promote the success of the Executive Vice President and the six state SouthWest Affiliate to both internal and external audiences, including employees, volunteers, stakeholders and the general public.
� Lead implementer and driver of Affiliate-wide initiatives and special projects. Create processes, project timelines, roles/responsibilities recommendations, communication/meeting recommendations, needs assessments, feedback loops and drive agendas and conversations for all planning meetings and communications for recurring, affiliate-wide projects that elevate the reputation and success of the affiliate externally and/or elevate employee morale and performance internally, such as annual Staff Awards, Strategy Summit and volunteer committee nominations process.
� Supported the Chief of EVP Operations on all aspects of strategic planning and Senior Leadership Team and Affiliate Board management, including but not limited to creating agendas, organizing documents and files and managing projects for 3 board meetings per year and monthly Senior Leadership Team meetings. Also assisted with tasks supporting board recruitment pipeline and processes, ongoing communications and Board Member engagement data management.
� Managed all aspects of a 13-person team operations including bi-weekly and monthly team meetings, 2 in person retreats and celebrations a year, sharepoint network files/ data management and team calendars.

Development Specialist, Foundation and Corporate Relations (April 2012 � November 2014)
� Key strategic partner providing fundraising support to Major Gifts and Corporate Relations/ Workplace Giving for the 6 state affiliate.
� Ongoing interaction with both corporate donors and foundations by phone, e-mail and in person communication. �Served as the liaison between National Corporate Relations and the SouthWest Affiliate, disseminating decisions and information, including oversight of activation and account management of national corporate partners within all mid and major markets in the SouthWest Affiliate�s 6 states.
� Conduct ongoing proactive and reactive donor research through creative internet searches, including accurately identifying new prospects and recruiting companies to incorporate into the American Heart Association as part of a national corporate partnership or workplace giving strategic choice campaign.
� Create, review and coordinate presentations, return on investment binders and major gift proposals of $50,000 and less, including benchmark fundraising activities and reporting.
� Organize account team contacts, sponsorship contacts, proposals, letters of agreement, sponsorship payments, presentations, and benefits delivered.
� Assist with community and corporate workplace giving campaigns, including submitting applications and renewals; coordinating speakers and health fairs; and general administrative support.
� Recipient of the SouthWest Affiliate�s 2012-2013 Outstanding Collaboration Award.


Camp Young Judaea � Texas: Houston, TX
Admin/ Development Coordinator (May 2010 � March 2012)
� Manage intake and organization of all donations and camp tuition.
� Staff coordinator for the 60th Anniversary Celebration year including event planning projects, legacy giving, corporate sponsorships, and Friends of CYJ Annual Giving/ Sustaining Campaign.
� Day to day contact and collaboration with camp volunteers and lay leaders.
� Assisted with camp recruitment and registration and successfully increased registration by 18% in just 2 months, bringing totals up year-over-year.
� Organize and coordinate database of over 3,000 contacts.
� Oversee the development and management of the camp scholarship process in cooperation with the Scholarship committee and chair.
� Maintain constant communication with over 350 camp families and hundreds of camp donors including phone, email, and mail (both standard and creative).


Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County (Jewish Teen Initiative): West Palm Beach, FL
Director of Youth Philanthropy and Service Learning (February 2007 � April 2010):
� Oversaw operational activities of the Teen Tzedakah Project, the community�s philanthropic and social action initiative of approximately 150 members. Duties included guidance to the Youth Leadership Council, recruitment and retention of project members, creation and implementation of promotional and engaging programs involving philanthropy and service-learning.
� Responsible for recruitment and supervision of the community�s Panim el Panim (teen advocacy seminar in Washington, DC) delegation. Arranged all trip logistics from making travel arrangement to organization of pre and post trip meetings with participants and local donors, and managing and accompanying delegations of 20-30 teens on each seminar.
� Lead staff member in planning and implementation of the Bonim Fellows Volunteer Leadership Program, a prestigious program that brings together a select and diverse group of teens from Palm Beach County to build leadership skills through volunteer and educational activities in Palm Beach County and the community�s partnership region in Israel.


Temple Beth Torah: Wellington, FL
Youth Director (February 2007 � April 2010)
� Responsible for the overall management of synagogue youth department and youth programming of over 100 participants in grades 6-12.
� Worked on implementation, recruitment, marketing, and budgeting of all youth programs.
� Coordinated annual Temple-wide walk-a-thon fundraisers and carnivals for a congregation of 475 families.
� Mentored and developed teen leadership.


Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston: Houston, TX
Development & Interfaith Relations Program Assistant (September 2005 � January 2007)
� Key organizational member in helping to respond to the Hurricane Katrina relief efforts by matching 500 evacuees with Houstonian families through welcome events. Responsibilities included administrative duties involved in this project such as creating and maintaining excel spreadsheets, coordinating event logistics and all methods of communication and public relations.
� Developed relationships with significant faith and community leaders in the Houston area.
� Designed and guided groups of all ages on educational faith tours around the Houston area.
� Staff lead for the Women�s Gathering, a quarterly event bringing together women of diverse faiths for dialogue and educational opportunities.
� Assisted with the planning of monthly Clergy luncheons for 100 clergy members and the 2005 Annual Fundraising Gala for 500 guests.
