I started with Dillard’s at the most entry level position. 0ver the last ten years, have been promoted several times to higher levels of management and relocated to larger volume stores. My current position is Store Manager of a $19 million-dollar store located in Atlanta, GA. I oversee a staff of 150 employees. We prioritize staff development and client experience as key business initiatives among a multitude of responsibilities and operations.

Although I’ve enjoyed a very successful career in retail, I have also had a lifelong passion for science and the environment. I grew up camping (primitive) in the Finger Lakes region with my family which instilled a love of nature at an early age. In our current socioeconomic, and political climate, I am compelled more than ever to galvanize my strengths and efforts in the purpose of guiding the optimal human experience within a sustainable environment. I enrolled full-time in the Environmental Sustainability program while still in my current profession with anticipated graduation in Summer 2020. Ideally, I would have an opportunity to start in my new degree field prior to graduation.
