Guiding Eyes for the Blind ?— ?General Body Member

I am a part of the Guiding Eyes for the Blind club where I attend different puppy training classes and on-campus puppy events in order to learn and collect points so that I can eventually become a certified seeing-eye dog trainer and be permitted to either sit or raise seeing-eye dogs.

This was a program where we teamed up with two creative artists from Pakistan who wrote a play about public space and they helped us write our own play on our own perception on how we see public space. We compared and contrasted our cultures and feelings towards different concepts like public space and performed a staged reading of our version of On Common Ground that we wrote at the end of the program.

I was a DJ for the Wednesday, 6am shift for Ithaca College’s online radio station: VIC Radio.
